  .mov`s wont work right in Vegas Pro 11

  I see there are some threads on .mov and Vegas already, but I hope I`m forgiven for posting another one as the ones I have found don`t quite match my issue (or they are for other versions of Vegas).

  I have an imac, loving it, but also loving Vegas so I´m running windows with Parallels Desktop, so far without trouble.

  I received a harddrive with material shot on EX1. Most of the files are mp4 and Vegas have no problem with them. Other files are .mov and the footage lags alot making it near impossible to edit. They play fine in QuickTime and VLC (both in windows and osx).

  I`ve heard that .mov`s can be difficult to work with once they`ve been through FCP, but though the original files were moved from the card to the drive via mac, I´m assured they were not through FCP.

  I wanted to try converting them with XDCAM Browser, but it shows the folder as empty and when finding the files through “import” it says “Failed to import the clip”.

  I have tried looking for other converting and transfer tools, but have to admit I am pretty dense on this subject… and since I haven`t come across any that tells me in bold letters it will fix exactly what I want, I´m trying to minimize troubles by not downloading to many “maybe´s”.

  Will love any and all suggestion on how to fix this:)
