Problem after rendering video – i lose sync for 10 seconds!
Urgent Help Needed Plz! Canon 7D users and video editors
im shooting a drama series on a 7D and this is my first time that i use the DSLR cameras for video, i used different HD cameras before but this is the 1st time on DSLR, now im facing a strange problem in post production, first of all i shot several episodes at 24P and when i edited the episode on Sony Vegas Pro 10 and then rendered the video i faced a problem at the end of each episode, the last 30 or 40 seconds slow motion started and i lost the sync between video and sound, first i thought that was because i shot at 24P and i dont have the option to render the video at 24P
then i tried shooting at 25 and also i faced the same problem.
First question: if the problem was because i shot at 24P is it possible to change the video from 24p to 25p?
Second question: is the problem related only to the project settings in sony vegas?
these are the settings that i do when i edit the MOV files from my 7D
Template 1080-50i (1920×1080) 25fps
Field order: none progressive
Frame rate: 25 PAL
Pixel formate: 8bit
Full resolution: Best
Motion Blur type: Gaussian
Deinterlace method: Blend Fields -

What format are you rendering to?

Sony AVC (mp4, m2ts, avc)
AVCHD 1920×1080 – 50i -
If you want to stay in 24p mode, try the MXF format as it has that option.

im rendering a video now with these options u sent me and im waiting to see the results, what about 25p? last week i changed the shooting format to 25p instead of 24p i though the problem was because i shot at 24p but still im facing the same problem

Unless you inserted a velocity envelope, I can’t think of any reason why your video should start slowing down.
