okay so i turn on sony vegas and this error message pops up saying:

Warning: An error occured during the current operation

    A device does not exsist

    [OK] [Details >>]

i click details and it says:

The playback devide Microsoft Sound Mapper does not exsist.

    I click ok.

I go to play the video and a pop up comes up saying:

An error occured while starting playback

The request is not enabled for this device

    [OK] [Details >>]

i click details and it says:

The playback device Microsoft Sound Mapper does not exsist

I’ve gone to other threads at different websites and they’ve said to change the preferences and download stuff, none of its worked for me so far. Mainly because all those were posted years ago, so they had different computers and versions of sony vegas. Ive already tried downloading Microsoft sound mapper, but it didn’t do anything.

My computer type: Windows 7 Home Premium
Sony Vegas Version: Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 (not trial)

So yeah….if you can help in anyway, thatd be great.
Also, sorry if someone already posted about this. But you know. I need something organized.
