    HI all! First my question.

I have a number of files that have the pixelated text caused by not doubling your text output size. From searching this great site, I found that you must make your text double your video output size. 720×480 output means your text should be 1440×960 . oT=oV²(plz correct me if I’m wrong)

Second question- Can I batch change these text generator settings for all 40 files? I found this https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/918284#918284 in my search but it was awhile ago and hoping tech has changed. He also answered himself & this was enough reason for me to justify some (I’m sure) misguided hope.

    Thanks

There seems to be some disconnect in your question. I am not following the problem. Which Version of Vegas are you using and how are you generating the text? (There’s four or five methods of generating text in your video, depending on your Vegas version).

    thanks for your reply.
I’m using Vegas 11 HD Platinum Studio. I used the media generator picked titles & text. Each has it’s own track on the timeline .

make your text double your video output size. 720×480
output means your text should be 1440×960

…..That is exactly right, you need to double it, so your
text can be clean and sharp when working in a 720×480 resolution.

In Vegas Pro you can do it with scripts, not in Movie Studio

What does my version lack to be able to run scripts? Is it just not a feature or can it be massaged into it.

    Thanks all for your help!

He was referring to that Vegasaur works only in Vegas Pro,
and also that most scripts works only in the pro versions.

Vegasaur can do this, but there is also the standard script “Resize Generated Media”
