  How do I make one specific clip’s audio louder than the other?

  I recorded a voiceover and am now adding music to the background, but it is waay louder than the voiceover.. how could i decrease and increase the volume of just 1 clip instead of the overall volume??

  You can always reduce the audio volume of event by dragging the top edge line to the bottom.

  

  Alternatively, move event to a new track and use track’s controls to adjust the volume.
  In addition, use volume envelopes for fine tuning the volume across the entire track.
  Finally, you might want to try Voice Over extension from Vegasaur toolkit 😉

  Also try adding an Audio Envelope to the track, that will let you set anchor points and vary the volume in different spots.

  

  I’m embarrassed to admit I used Vegas for two years before I discovered audio envelope! Prior to that I did a bizarre combo of multiple audio tracks and fades to adjust volume … ;-p

  Finally, (jumping in before Steve Rhoden does 😉 ) – in Vegas, use the terms tracks and events. Clip is not preferred.
