Hey guys, I made a shattering effect on an image imported from Illustrator (not the preset shatter) but by cutting the image up using the knife, separating the shapes onto separate layers then using some expression to create the shatter look. I see that when made 3d and zooming amongst the shattered shrapnel that it is quite blurry and pixelated. I know this is due to continual rasterization being turned off but I am wandering if it outputs as this quality when rendered?

Quite a simple question really, but I would like to know whether having continuous rasterization off means that it would appear that way in the final render? I ask because it takes a while to preview the comp with it off, so if I don’t need to turn it on while I’m working that’d be nice.

    Thanks in advance, Eugene

Yes having continuous rasterization off it would output at the blurry quality when rendered. You don’t need to have it on while you work just be sure and turn it back on before you render.
