  Black Screen Problem

  Hi, I am very new to Vegas and while editing, my preview window was working fine and I could see video, and then I did something in the timeline, but have no idea what I did, but after I did it, my screen preview turned black. Now when I press play, I hear the audio but see no video and do not know what I need to do to get it back. Help!

  Make sure you have not done something with the Video FX button … this has burned me before:

  

  Also, watch for sill things like having the track turned off … (The little universal “no” symbol button)

  Ha! It was something silly like me having the “mute” button on. Duh. Well now I know where the mute button is! Thank you 🙂
