    Hi;

    I finally installed Vegas 11 (I bought it last October). I installed build 595 64-bit.

    I’ve not yet let it “own” my veg files, want to keep using 10e while I test.

    The first thing I did was compare settings side-by-side with Vegas 10, to make sure I had all my paths and tweaks correct. I noticed that in my copy of SVP11, there are no icons on the left side of the options drop-down menu. Instead of icons that match the icons on the tool bar, all that is present is a little check box. (See below).

    While not a show-stopper, this is a step back, and annoying. Having the little icons on the drop down allows one to learn what those little symbols mean on the tool bar.

    Anyone else have this?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Same here. I never really noticed it before you pointed out. I don’t use the menus much (mostly use keyboard shortcuts).

    Actually, it was fairly difficult to see what was enabled and what wasn’t with the icons. Now that they are all checkmarks, it’s much easier to see what is turned on and off. I think it’s s step forward.

    Ok, thanks John, good to know it was not just me.

    Although I could tell pretty easily if the option was enabled in SVP 10, I can live with the new look.
