I have the updated version of Vegas 11, 64 bit. In earlier versions, program would crash whenever I tried to render an mp3 file. Now, the render button is greyed out when I choose mp3 render. I don’t see anything thing about this on this forum. Am I the only one who has this issue?

    Thanks,

I am not following your workflow. Give me a step-by-step so that I can try to reproduce it here.

When you click on “Render As” is “Dolby Digital” not there?

    Thanks for your responses.
Yes I do have Sound Forge and can render mp3s there.
    Workflow:
    Choose Render as
    Choose mp3 as the template
However the render button is greyed out.

Mine is not greyed out when I follow your steps. SVP 11 build 595 and I don’t have Source Forge, but do have Acid Music Studio 8.0.

Yes, this is an old thread, but I wanted to post my experience with the “No MP3 Render Option in Vegas 11” problem, since I could find no solution online.

Like the OP, I had no option for an MP3 render, THE FIRST TIME I CLICKED ON RENDER. However, upon clicking on Render again, the option MP3 appeared. Go figure! Maybe this will work for others?
