  Optimal render settings for max system resource use

  Hey all,

  Just had a few questions as far as Vegas settings to optimize full usage of system resources.

  I recently upgraded my comp to the list below, and was wondering if there are any settings under the options (other than Gpu acceleration) to help speed up my renders. If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated, as I’m fairly new to vegas pro 11 (was using hd platinum 10 before)

  My specs
  I5 2500k @ 4.6ghz (water cooled)
  Asus p8z68-v/gen 3 mobo (Wondering if using intel quick sync would greatly improve render times?
  Corsair vengeance 16gb @1600
  Wd 5400 rpm 320gb hd
  Wd 2tb external connected via USB 3.0
  800w corsair psu
  Radon hd 4870 oced

  My question is, with this z68 chipset, does Vegas utilize quick sync, and how do I make sure it’s working? I should have plenty of ram to handle rendering, so why aren’t things going quicker? Any help?
