How to add a single channel audio file?
I have a movie file and a single audio file. The audio file is a single channel/mono WAV file that is basically a Center channel file. I have added the video file and the audio file to the track however have seen pictures where you define left/right/rear/etc. Where is that? I know I won’t use all that stuff but just adding this single track and having no way to identify that it’s a center channel bothers me.
Question on this. Besides knowing above how to define the channel, since it comes from a source that defined this as a center channel are there any recommendations on the final output? Should I be duplicating this file and making it pseudo stereo? Will leaving it center channel play right on a 5.1 system?
For reference on Vegas Pro 11 and when I right click on the audio track and select Channels, it’s greyed out. Even if I dup the audio channel and want to define one left and one right.
Appreciate the input.
