  Error: System low on memory

  hi,

  everytime i try to render i get the error: system low on memory
  but there’s nothing else on my computer running
  i have Sony Vegas Pro 10

  It always gives the error about 3 seconds into the rendering
  this just started last tuesday, everything worked fine before that

  also sometimes it does render the way it’s supposed to but the the video fx is just gone

  another thing i’ve noticed is that sometimes it won’t open my file (it crashes at 21%), i’ve had times where it only gives a red screen

  & when i search for a file to import, all the icons are either blurry or just gone

  can anyone please tell me what the hell is going on with my Sony Vegas

  Have you tried doing a system restore back to when
  things were working well?

  Jamie, if you have the option to use a 64 bit version of Vegas (assuming you have 64 bit Windows), you will not see this error.

  but i’ve been working with this version for a couple months now & i’ve never had this problem

  The only thing I can think of that that a Windows update or new software recently installed by you has tipped Vegas over.
