  It’s like I’ve got Caps lock on.. but I haven’t

  Hey,

  All of a sudden I can’t scrub through my timeline.. it’s like I’ve got caps lock on.. I drag the time line and when I land it updates.. but it won’t scrub..

  Is there a setting elsewhere that I don’t know about it ?

  Yes. There’s a live preview button that you can turn on/off.
  I’m not in front of my AE machine at the moment, or I could find it in a heartbeat and tell you where it is. Check the help files or search the forums. This question has been asked numerous times.

  CHEERS MICHAEL,

  THERE’S A BUTTON ON THE TIMELINE THAT I ACCIDENTLY PRESSED…HAD I KNOWN I WAS LOOKING FOR LIVE UPDATE.. I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER SEARCH.. THE SEARCH ENGINE STRUGGLED WITH MY ORIGINAL TITLE..

  Michael is referring to Live Update. I agree with him that you probably have that turned off.
