  after effects render: best hardware?

  hi all, im trying to know wich hardware i need to upgrade my pc. I need to make quicker ram previews and final renders.
  Now i have 512ram, its ok if i add ram? or what? i need to upgrade my video card? depends on the processor?

  Currently, CPU speed and RAM are the biggest factor in render speed.

  So getting the fastest processor you can afford would be your best option. And load the machine with at least 1GB (preferrably 2GB) of fast RAM.
