3D Animation Issue
I am animating a series of rings so that is appears you are flying through them. When I position the png images on the z axis the animation slow down dramatically as the zoom approaches the last image.
I need to do this with hundreds of rings emanating from a distant source that is moving around and even off of the image and fly through them at a constant speed.Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Is there a reason you’re not doing this with a particle program? You can just set it to shoot particles out that get larger and larger and don’t travel. Then you move the source around and it’s like you’re flying through a tunnel.
As for what you’re talking about, are you scaling them up or zooming in to them with a camera? It sounds like you should just be moving the camera, not zooming…

The particle generator sounds like the way to go. Where can I get a step by step of how to set this up?
On the other question I was using the camera to zoom in not scaling the images.
I am very grateful for you expertise.

Well, you could set them up in 3d space and move the camera (NOT) zooming in. The benefit of this is that you can have other things in the shot too so it’s not just those rings or whatever.
As far as a step by step goes, I’m sure there are some online. Just try a search for creating a tunnel with particles or something like that.
