    Hi,

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 11 HD and I have a project with 8 video clips (taken sound out of all 8) on one track, a single wav sound track and 3 text media on two tracks.

I am using WMV 11 8mpbs, 1440x1080p, 100% smoothness, 320kbps 2 channel 96khz audio (WMA 10 professional audio) and no 3D to render the video.

What happens is that the video renders, is the right length after rendering and has the audio is fine, but the video seems to freeze after the first video clip is played (at the point where the next clip is supposed to start but the audio continues to play but text doesn’t appear either). I set each video clip to don’t resample, but that didn’t seem to do anything.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Im hearing a couple issues rendering WMV format in Vegas 11.
Have you tried rendering in another format to see if the project
    is ok?

    Hi Steve,

No, but I’ll try that, I have rendered in this format before and had no problems.

I changed to the mp4 render and it seemed fine, crashed one but rendered fine second time, seem just WMV won’t render correctly as I said in my first message. Is there a way to get WMV to render correctly? I used it on Movie Studio 11 and it worked, just won’t on pro for some reason. I would use movie studio, but already made this project on pro and don’t think there is a way to import the project into movie studio.

Using MOV files recorded with Canon 600D 1080p HD if that helps.
