  Vegas 9 preview issues

  I posted a month or so ago how I was having issues with choppy HD video in AVCHD from my sony hdr150 on my video preview screen.
  I have since taken advice from this forum and upgraded my laptop to an ASUS a53s with i7, 6GB 750HD to handle my HD editing. The salesman at my local computer store said this system would have no problem with handling HD editing.
  I have tried all of the HD properties selctions and my previes are still slow and choppy.
  This seems to be a rucurring question around here regarding the choppy preview screen.
  Is this a Vegas 9 problem ? Would upgrading to a new HD specific software solve this problem ?

  If you upgrade your system, its equally important you upgrade
  your tools….So upgrading Vegas will solve most of your issues.

  Sony made significant AVCHD improvements from 9 to 10.
