I read what it said in the online manual. I have Sony Vegas 11 plat.
I dragged the transition fom the window to the time line. I actually want to edit. Says in the instructiond to edit a transition, Click the Transition Properties button on a transition to change the transition’s settings.

    Change to a different transition
Click the Transition Properties button on a transition to display the Video Event FX dialog.

….how do i do that ? i do not remeber what each transition is. I have a 15 minute video made up of 15 – 20 clips, each with a different transition.

Do you want to remove a transition completely, or edit the transition, or change the transition type?

You can remove a transition completely by dragging the event edge until there is no overlap. As soon as there is any overlap, you automatically have a transition.

You can change a transition by right-clicking on the transition and selecting “Transition >” to change the type, or “Transition Properties” to adjust settings on an existing transition.

You can also change the transition to one of the presets by dragging that preset from the Transitions browser/preview window to the timeline.
