Has anyone heard of a way to embed a pause command in a video. I am working on a training DVD that needs frequent pauses and it would be great if there is a way to do this in Vegas 11

In Vegas Split where you want a pause. Make the now previous Event a Subclip. Right click on this New Subclip and remove the Loop from its value. Move the Events to the right of this Subclip to creat a gap, this will equate to the amount of “pause”. Now, pull the end of the Subclip to the Right and you’ll see the Subclip “pause”. Job done!

That works fine, thanks! I am asking is there a way to trigger the pause command on a DVD?

I use DVDA5. Make sure you have the Remote buttonsPause” active:-

Menu Page Properties >> Remote Buttons >> PAUSE check it is set to On.

Or am I to think you want a PAUSE, VCR type-button, actually visible on the Video as it is playing? So you can use a Mouse Cursor (?) to click on it to PAUSE?

    Grazie
