  Sony Vegas replaces files itself

  Hey there!
  I am using Sony Vegas pro 9.0 and actually never had any big problems.
  But recently something is bugging me:
  When I open this certain project, the song I am using is replaced (for instance with the audio of a movie). When I right click on the replaced file, it refers to the folder the movie is in.
  I tried to manually replace the audio with the original song but after saving and opening the project, the song is replaced again.

  Does anyone know what to do? That problem occured in another project as well (in that case it is one clip that is replaced by another clip)

  Unfortunately this is an on-going issue that affects some users (including myself) for which Sony has no known solution. Your best bet would be to report it to Sony to build up their knowledgebase on the problem and perhaps find a solution.

  Unfortunately yes. In my experience dismounting and remounting a drive or restarting the PC would cause the media to swap, but if I never shut down the PC or remounted drives all was good. A bit impractical, but it worked.
