Vegas sound problem
Posted by Joao Souza on December 21, 2011 at 3:09 pmGuys when I go to ‘preferences-audio device’, my soundcard is not there so there’s no sound.
I have a digidesign digi 001 =https://www.dancetech.com/aa_dt_new/hardware/images/digidesign_digi001_main.jpg
Do you guys know something about it?
Why my audio device is not listed?

December 21, 2011 at 3:29 pmIt goes this way =
All my recording programs like pro tools, cubase, sound forge etc have sound, I have a home recording studio so I use those programs everyday.
The only program not accepting it is Vegas. When I’m on the net there’s no sound too, I can watch youtube videos but there’s no sound.
If it works with all other programs why not with Vegas?

December 21, 2011 at 3:42 pmThats very weird, because if soundforge picks it up, Vegas
should alongside picks it up as well.
Is it Vegas 11 you have there? Because if it is, that could
be another bug flaw in Vegas 11….OR…Could be something else
on the cards part, seeing you arent getting anything online either.
Have you checked their site for any new driver updates to iron out
any bugs the card may previously had?Steve Rhoden

December 21, 2011 at 3:47 pmI have vegas 7, I just make videos for me and my friends so I didn’t need anything fancy, a friend of mine gave it to me.
Well this soundcard is out of production, there are already 3 newer models (digi 002 and 003), I got the last asio driver made to use with it but if all other programs accept it, Vegas should too. -

December 21, 2011 at 4:21 pmHard to say then what is wrong, Because Vegas 7 should be able
to pick that up under the audio device tab in Preferences.Steve Rhoden
