Looks like there are quite a few of us with the same problem… I posted earlier on this- although I’m trying to render 1920×1080… I have a commercial that was due today… couldn’t meet the deadline… trying again tomorrow. Someone suggested I try to revert to Vegas 10 just for this project… I may have to! Sony has some explaining to do… I came over from FCP and i REALLY want this to work, but it was so much easier with Final Cut. 🙁

Let’s get very specific about what you’re doing because I delivered my last two Boris TV episodes at HD 720-30p (29.97fps) without any problems.

What are your project properties? (a screen shot of the project properties page would help)

What are the properties of your source video? (size, codec, etc.)

What are the properties of your render template? (a screen shot of the render template custom page would help)

Charity, did you ever find a fix for this? If not, see my request for details from Jojo and please provide the same (or point me to your thread or start a new thread) and I’ll see if I can help.

(edit: Never mind, I found your original post and replied there) 😉

thank you to Everyone! Unfortunately. I was stupid enough to not RESTART my COMPUTER after installing Sony Vegas (which I just did) and my Windows Media Player was acting up. Thank you everyone and I’m sorry about my Stupid mistake!
