  Evelope points are glued to events

  In Vegas (I have Home Studio) all points of envelopes are glued to video and audio events if such an event exists. Even if the point was created in the absence of any event, moving an even onto hit and moving in away again drags the point with it.

  This is sometimes undesirable, the points don’t necessarily correspond to anything in the event. Is there a way to move the event and leave the points where they are?

  Under Options, about halfway down, you can uncheck Lock Envelopes to Events.
