Trimmer in Vegas 11
I am running an i7 4 core 64bit, 12 gigs of RAM, Sony 11 64bit.
I went from Vegas 8 to 11. My 8 was on a 32 bit system.
In Vegas 8, I would click the media ONCE and it popped into the trimmer. Vegas 11 wont do that. And when I put a clip in the trimmer in Vegas 11, it takes forever to show. In Vegas 8 I could have dozens of Clips in the trimmer simultaneously. In 11 the system completely slows down. Just hangs there for several minutes. So every time I want to put a clip in the trimmer I have to clean the trimmer out before otherwise the system will hang.
My old System was 2bit with 2 gigs of RAM. Now I a running 64 bit with 12 gigs of RAM and Vegas SUCKS bigtime. Anyone else with this TRIMMER problem?

Remove and reload vegas, this helped me when my system was “hanging” a lot. Check in the preferences that your have “checked” the box for vegas to load clips to the trimmer rather than the timeline.

I use the trimmer in SVP 11 and I don’t have a problem since I began running the NVIDIA beta drivers that were released last month.
i7 6core 64bit 12GB SVP 11 64bit build 425 NVidia GTX570 v290.36 (beta) I was having problems with the released version of the NVidia drivers.

Actually it seems to be a problem with the “external” monitoring… When I unclick the external monitoring button I can put a lot of clips into the trimmer and the system will not hang…
