Have you changed your fonts or DPI to be something other than the defaults in Windows? If so this could be your problem. If not, check that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

I have the latest nvidia drivers(updated just before installing SV11) ,Do you mean the actual font that is used for windows itself apposed to fonts I use for my projects?
    Thank you for your reply.

although it does not indicate which font was affected :-(, it is a possible solution, especially if the problem just started occurring.

My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

Well I checked the dpi which is set to 100% and changed it to see if it would change anything, but no luck. Then I went to control panel fonts> font settings . restore default font settings. But that did not work either.
Wonder if the font itself is corrupt?

[Ron Bakker] “I have the latest nvidia drivers(updated just before installing SV11)”

Where did you get them from? I would download the latest drivers from the card manufacturer for your graphics card. These have been certified to work with your card. Sometimes the latest drivers from NVIDIA can cause problems.

    Hi John
I down loaded them from nvidia themself. I had the same problem with SV9 with the the pro type titler and sony rays which both have the same look about their interface, all the other plugsins were fine. But now with SV11 more of the plugins have the same looking interface including the ones I really want to try like Stabilize. Are we still thinking it is a font problem?

No, I’m thinking it may be a driver problem. Try downloading the latest drivers that are supplied by your PC manufacturer or graphics card manufacturer if you installed it yourself.

The reason I say this, is because I had an NVIDIA card once that would not display OpenGL graphics correctly using the latest drivers from NVIDIA. I went back to my card manufacturer’s web site and downloaded the drivers that they certified to work and my problems disappeared. It’s a long shot but it’s worth a try. Create a system restore point and give it a try.

    Hi John
Well I downloaded the driver for my exact card from the manufactures website, installed it, restarted the computer, checked to make sure it did roll back to that driver then tried sv11 but no luck everything is still all squashed up together. Only thing I can think of doing now is put all my downloaded fonts in a folder somewhere and somehow reinstall the OS fonts, incase one of the windows fonts are corrupt.

Yea. I sorry the driver thing didn’t work out. Corrupt fonts seems like the next most likely choice. Let us know how you make out.
