    System Specs:
    Intel Core i7 2600K
    8GB RAM
    1GB MSI GTX560Ti
    GigaByte GA-P67A-UD4

i have lots of space on my HDD

My Project video is around 2 hours long and its recorded with BlackMagic Intersity Pro in 720p

I need to render it in 720p…

I tried .mp4 but it wont create any file over 4GB.. it gives an error.

i tried .wmv but after it renders around 1:30:00 it says memory too low and stops rendering.. i have to restart the PC at this point to get rid of the lag. Memory Usage is around 95-99% when vegas starts giving me this error…

how can i finish this project and render my video?

I am using Sony Vegas 11

[Mandeep Singh] “I tried .mp4 but it wont create any file over 4GB.. it gives an error.”

Are you rendering to an NTFS drive or FAT32 drive? It sounds like you’re rendering to FAT32.

Render it in sections and then render those sections as a whole video.

Are you using Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 64-bit, or 32-bit?

That’s really odd that you can’t render an MP4 file bigger than 4GB. I’ve only encountered this on FAT32 drives. Which MP4 did you try? Sony AVC or MainConcept AVC? If you only tried one, then try the other.

WMV is problematic with Vegas and I’ve seen others get low memory errors. I avoid using it.
