I have a problem with the solid colour media and cropping on sony vegas 10?

Hi, as you can see in the picture the solid black colour is cropped as default, but it doesn’t fill the screen to the right. I have tried normal cropping, which works as it should, except the blackness just won’t show in that top area. It’s almost like it’s not allowed there or something. I’m sure this is a simple fix for someone with a greater sony vegas knowledge than I, which is why I posted it up here. Thanks for the help in advance guys!! (Or girls) -

First, Make sure the project settings (frame size..etc) is the same

The video was at 1920×1080 and the project was at 1080×720. I’ve fixed that now but it still hasn’t fixed the problem.

Also, on my keyframes one generated media is about 1/3 frame behind all the others, and when I try to sync them all it always locks on to 1/3 frame behind the main frames, if you know what I mean. This means I can’t sync them, any help? By the way thanks for the help so far, I don’t mean to flood you with questions.

Actually, that is the problem, as i figured. what you need to now do
is after you correct and make the project 1920×1080, is
to delete that black solid from the timeline and simply add a new
one back to the timeline.Steve Rhoden

But the black image has certain cookie cutters and crops on which are timed. How can I transfer all the keyframes over to the new black image?

Try just changing the dimensions of the existing generated media to match the new project settings – width and height are specified in the top of the generated media edit window.

Do you have a filter on this black solid or on that

A filter? On the track itself it is moved slightly upwards, and on the black image it is just masked on a timed interval.
