I’m new and terrible at rendering. I have a video I want to upload to youtube at great quality (not 1080 but at least to have 720p on youtube) . My vegas studio doesn’t have a lot of high-quality codecs as it is so I go with WMV V9. I set it to 6mbps 720-30p video, set the video/audio settings high.

The video almost comes out perfect, except during playback I notice during certain shots a vertical line will run down from top to bottom, but it’s not really a line it’s just an off-set vertical portion of the video that’s just noticable enough.

I would like to try rendering in h.264 or something else but my version of vegas only has low-quality options.

    Suggestions please?

Small update: So I tried rendering using Vegas hd studio 9 using the Sony h.264 encoder instead. Same problem. Now when I try on a friend’s computer, I don’t have the same jittery effects. So I’m thinking it’s my computer. I have a radeon x1300 vid card. Are there settings I can adjust that might help?
