  Auto Split every minute? or Time-lapse tips?

  I’m trying to make a manual time lapse video by taking a frame from every minute of the video. Instead of manually having to make a split every minute on the timeline, is there a way to automatically do this? Like is there a feature where I can say I want there to be a split every minute or 5 minutes or whatever?

  Or is there just an easier way to make a time lapse?

  Hi,

  I normally just speed the footage up as much as you can, then render that clip as the same type of file as the source, making sure that the settings are correct (ie if it’s progressive footage in the first place then render it as progressive footage etc etc). I then drop that file onto the timeline and speed that up. You can keep doing this until you get a clip of the length and speed that you’re after.

  That’s what i do anyway…
