about Noise Reduction
Hey everyone, I know this maybe is an “old topic” but Im wondering if you about some other thing “cheaper” (or free) that works like Noise reduction ´till this days.
I really think this plugin is very expensive, at least here in Guatemala and for me it is. It costs the half of my month salary haha, too much for a plug for me, believe me.
I know about “audacity” but my question is if there is something that works directly with sony vegas.

I assume you mean audio noise reduction and not video noise reduction. If so, you could take a look at BIAS Sound Soap. It’s not too expensive and it does a good job. Not as flexible as the more expensive plug-ins but it gets he job done

Well, thank you John, it seems like there´s no alternative plugin for vegas yet to remove audio noise…
…I hope some “plugin expert” on the web do something for us… the vegas fans! ha.
(this last thought brought me a question: plugins like Aav6cc… are they legal?, does anyone who knows how to make plugins for a program like vegas is able to share them for free?)

Aav6cc is definitely legal. The author decided to offer it for free. That reminds me… Mike Crash is another author who makes free Vegas plug-ins and one of them is video noise reduction (not audio).
Anyone with programming skills can download the Sony Software Development Kit (SDK) for Vegas Pro and write plug-ins.
There are also lots of free audio plug-ins for Vegas. Any audio plug-in that supports DirectX will work with Vegas.
