  Effects being misplaced upon rendering

  Hello forum.

  I’m using Sony Vegas Pro 10, and I’ve been editing some clips, added muzzleflashes and some smoke effects.

  When I’m editing the clips and such, the effects are exactly where they are supposed to be, however when I’ve rendered the video, all the muzzleflashes and smoke effects are misplaced.

  

  So there you see that the flash is located far above the barrel of the rifle. In Vegas, the flash was down at the barrel, like it should.

  Anybody know what the problem is? I’ve had this problem before, but I never fixed it.

  All help is appreciated!

  1) Make sure your project properties match your render settings.
  2) Set the Preview Window to Best/Full when you’re aligning your FX.
