  Importing files

  I’m trying out the disintegration tutorial on video copilot. When I try to import a psd or jpeg into my project it won’t import it as a composition, it immediately chooses footage and locks out any other choices. Does anyone know how I can get this to import as a composition?

  One thing that can cause a layered PSD to not be importable as a composition is the color mode of the PSD file not being RGB. See “Preparing and importing Photoshop files”.
