Adding one project to another

Any idea’s on how to combine two separate projects together to make one single project. Thanks, Stephen

If you’re using Vegas Pro, start a new project, import the two veg files, drop them on the timeline, save as a new project and render to the desired format..

If you are using Vegas Pro, just open a 3rd project and drop the other two projects into it as if they were just another piece of video media. This is called “nested projects”.
If you’re using Movie Studio, then you must render one of them and bring the rendered file back into the other project.

The difficulty is that I’m not ready to render. I’m looking to get two projects in, one after the other and then continue editing. Thanks. Stephen

You could try and open both projects simultaneously in two different instances of Vegas and cut and paste events between them. This will now, however, copy any track FX or envelopes you may have applied.

Then only do the first part of the suggestions John and I made (drop them on the timeline).
Remember to save this as a new project. -
Thanks for the thought, but I’ll stick with separate projects if there’s no sipmle way of combining projects. Pasting and copying could work but would be pretty tortureous as I have five projects to combine into one. My old low definition Premiere 6 could have done all this in a few clicks. Stephen
