Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Chunking a long video into shorter modules

Hi, I’m looking for some “best practice” support. I have a finished 25-minute video in Vegas Pro 9 that the client wants me to pull footage from to create shorter modules. I have in/out markers identifying the scenes. Each module has around 10 scenes.

Should be simple, but if I cut out the unwanted footage, the markers move. I could copy and paste selections to new tracks, but my sense is that there is a right way to do this.

    Thanks,
    Bruce M.

Create regions around all the in and out points on the timeline and then use the Batch Render script that comes with Vegas Pro to render just the regions.
