OP system: windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
    8 GB Ram
    Dual core processor

Using Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 64 bit
I have rendered 4 separate videos of approximately 40 min each using the following settings:

    Full HD 1080i
Format AVC ,.m2ts, full resolution rendered quality set to best.
The videos came out great, excellent quality.

On the other hand, I had put all the videos together to obtain a 2hrs and 40 min video. Sony starts rendering, once the program reaches the approximately 2 hrs and 10 min mark, it stops working or it keeps running but you can see that the preview window is black and it stays there like is rendering but it never finishes, it can be doing that for hours and hours doing nothing. When you stop the program, you will realize that you only have a 2hrs 10 min video instead of 2 hrs 40 min.

Does anybody have any idea why is this happening?

    Thank you in advance!

Looks like you have a corrupt clip at 2 hours and 10 min on the timeline. Try removing that clip.

That is what I thought, but if I start rendering from that point on, it renders those last minutes without problems.
