  Black screen!

  Hi there.
  I just started editing the footage for our new film, and I was doing really well until the point where the preview is showing no video. I get sound, but the video is gone. In the trimmer its also black. Did I hit a button that i don’t know of, or what has happened. All the events are in place, and i can see the thumbnails on them too.
  Someone please help me, i’m almost done with the film!

  My guess is that you accidentally enabled/clicked the “Split Screen View” button (top of the Preview screen).
  Click it again and things should go back to normal.

  Specifically if you have the split screen set up to show the contents of the Clipboard and there is nothing on the clipboard.
