  Chroma Keyer

  I recently shot my first green screen shoot and have now found out after not paying attention on the set that I had a light shadow behind my subject. Is there a way to remove that without re-shooting the footage?

  You could use the Color Corrector (Secondary) to make the shadow the same color as the rest of the green screen. Then use the Chroma keyer as usual. Most modern chroma keyers will not be bothered by a light shadow but the one in Vegas is quite old and elementary. The keyer in Boris Continuum Complete 7 or New Blue FX might be a better choice for tough footage.

  You could use the keyer again in the effects chain to key out the darker shadow.
