Vegas 32 bit on Windows 7 64 bit.
Hello, I am a independent film maker (I work with Machinima, specifically — you may have heard of it.) and I’ve been using the Vegas Pro tools for about three years now.
I’m currently running Vegas 10d 64 bit, and it’s never crashed on me even once. I decided that to improve the overall production quality of my films, I would download the 32 bit version so I could have extensive plugin support (Specifically Magic Bullet Looks).
What happens is that it installs fine, but when I click on it for it to start up, nothing happens. The iconic spinning blue ‘loading’ circle of Windows OS is there, but it disappears shortly and nothing happens — no error message, no pop-up, nada.
I’ve tried reverting back a version (10c) and again, nothing happened. Right now I’m updating some drivers in the hope that it may fix it, but I’m not holding my breath. Can you guys help me out? (Please, don’t let your ‘solution’ be anything like suggesting another program.)
