  Ok everyone, here’s a speculative question that i know no warranties can be implied.

  Seeing the new Quadro CX card using the GPU to speed up the CS4 suite with basically just some drivers that work with the quadro gpu, do you think that in the next release of products the gpu will be utilized more? The reason i asked is because i am thinking about getting a 9500gt card, because i do ZERO gaming, and it is more than enough for video work. But should i be more ‘future resistant’ with a 9600gt that is much faster, or am i just wasting my money on getting that card?

  If the newer software will utilitze the GPU i could only assume that it will have to take advantage of recent software in the not too distant past, i.e. geforece 8 and 9 series so it doesnt shut everyone out.

  Thoughts??
