Slide show in vegas
Hi i have vegas 5 and i’m trying to make a slideshow with motion what do i need

You could keyframe in some smooth pans and zooms.

If you have Vegas and some picture files, you’ve got all you need to get going. I primarily put together “slide shows” for our high school’s sporting events banquets. You can start with very basic “pan and scan” (i.e. al la Ken Burn’s documentaries that use old pictures that he pans across to give the illusion of “movement”).
To spice it up, add a music soundtrack and/or sound effects (i.e. crowd applause), then add titles to the production with a “Starring” lead-in and an end titles sequence using Vegas titles. You are only limited by your imagination (or the imagination of someone else you borrow from).
