Vegas Stopped Working
Is anyone having these problems?
1. I have a project that edits fine except whenever I try an open another window, be it my email, web, or document, Vegas goes white and says, “Vegas has stopped working”
2. I have another project that I works perfectly well but when I render the project to an m2t file or an MXF file, the resulting file only renders partially even though Vegas gives no indication that it hasn’t been rendered in full. When I try and view the program it locks up my computer tight. If I try and put the rendered file back on the Vegas timeline, the video does not even appear but only the audio timeline with only a partial render of the audio as pictured below.
When I rendered it as an M2t file I couldn’t even delete the file in explorer without it locking up my computer. I had to reboot and use the cmd prompt in DOS to delete the file. It’s crazy!
3. I have a third project that simply won’t open anymore. I’ve saved it along the way with several names but not none of them will open.
These are shows I’m doing for PBS and I tell you, it’s really got me scared.

Wow…All that does’nt sounds right. Something else is happening
there apart from Vegas being the cause, Could be some file or
registry corruption or something. Hard to say which.Steve Rhoden

The strange thing is that it is these particular few projects that are having the trouble. Other projects work just fine.
