After saving some Boris Red transitions in Vegas Pro 10 I put them to the edit list of Ultimate S. They didn’t work in the Photo Montage project. Are these plug ins compatible?

Kinda doubt Ultimate S can draw transitions out from Boris
that way….I would mirror your effort for further clarity,
but i dont have or use Boris.

This should work. I just tried it and had no problems. If you just created the preset, you may need to close and open Ultimate S Lite so that Vegas sends it a new list of presets. Sometimes Vegas won’t correctly refresh presets and render templates that you’ve just created until a restart. Bottom line, this should work (and just did for me).

Thanks John, I got it to go after refreshing myself with the Ultimate S program. I didn’t have all the lights on so to speak

Is there an easier way to transfer the Boris plug ins to Vegas? Thanks

    Glad you got it working.

No, but considering that Boris RED has 100’s of presets, I don’t think you’d want to transfer them all. Just transfer the ones that are your favorites. Don’t forget you can use RED in browser mode which makes it much easier to just apply presets and save them in Vegas.

Thanks John. I am in decision mode in purchasing the software. Works very well so far as I have experimented with it.
