  • DVD Architect question PLAY vs ENTER

Posted by Larry Brewer on May 28, 2011 at 4:55 pm

A constant complaint I get from my clients is the inability to make the play button on the remote control actually play a menu selection. Apparently, the proper way is to use the “ENTER” button.

I would like to highlight a menu button with the Left, right, up, down arrows, and then play the clip by pressing the PLAY button on the remote.

Can the PLAY button be made to mimic the ENTER button?
    Thanks

I don’t believe this is possible. Have you ever seen a commercial DVD that operates that way? I don’t remember seeing one. You can enable and disable buttons in DVD Architect but you can’t remap them.

Thank you for your reply. I kinda thought that would be the answer.

Hey! How about a forum just for DVD Architect? Overall, I think it is a pretty good piece of software, but it has absolutely no place in the Vegas forum. With it’s own forum, maybe users might start getting the full potential out of it.

I would send a request to the webmaster.

What I have seen on Sony’s DVD Architect forum is that there aren’t a lot of questions and so people tend to post their DVD Architect questions in the Vegas forum anyway because they feel they won’t get answered in a forum without a lot of activity.
