    when I take the card directly from my vid camera and put the sdhc card into the blueray player it will play the clips.. can someone tell me the step to where I could edit the files in vegas and then put it back on the card to be played in the blue ray player? its all so confusing to me… I usually just render to mp4, and of course the won’t work.. looks like it wants a whole directory structure… thanks..

    Yup. You need to create the Blu-ray file structure. You can do this with a free utility called tsMuxeR. You just add the MP4 file that you render and tell it to make an AVCHD structure.
