Hi guys, wasn’t sure where to post this.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to customize the remote buttons for dvd architect authored projects.

I’ve got a client who wants, when he presses stop on the remote for it to return to the menu instead of just stopping the disc?.. or for track skip to return to menu as well.

Anyone know how to do this?

    thanks in advance

    Matt

No. The behavior of remote buttons is a function of the DVD player. Changing that through DVD, even temporarily, would require that a DVD be able to “reprogram” the buttons. Personally, I wouldn’t want a DVD to have that kind of power.

Stop means STOP. If your client doesn’t want that, you can disable the Stop button for any media item on its Properties page. Maybe eventually he’ll figure out that the Menu button will take him to the menu. 😉
