Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Sony Creative site down?

    Has anyone else had problems reaching the Sony Creative site since Friday? I’ve been trying to register DVD Arch and have not been able to reach the site in any form.

    Sure you don’t have some kinda internet search toolbar installed that’s doing your browsing or something?

    I avoid search toolbars like the plague! There is no logical reason why I shouldn’t be getting to sonycreativesoftware.com short of the site being down. I can get any other site.

    Update: I did however get someone on the phone that would help me register my product. But I still can’t get to their site in any way. Very frustrating.

    Indeed! Tried different browsers: Firefox (default) and Internet Explorer. Also tried both browsers on another computer. Clear caches of all kinds. Ran registry cleaner, ran Hijack this…all clean.

    It’s very strange if I’m the only one having this problem.

    Asked a friend in the office to try it on his Mac as well…no luck, same result.

    Could it be something with either our router in the office…or even our ISP?

    You’re using OpenDNS for your DNS resolution. This is the page you get when OpenDNS can’t resolve the URL.

    Did you type it, click on a link or what? I get this whenever I don’t click on a complete link because my browser split the long URL into shorter lines. Or when I just misspell the URL.

    I get this openDNS Guide for anything leading to Sony Creative site…whether I type in the address, or click a link from a google search, or a link from an email from Sony Creative…or even from within Sony Vegas Pro’s own help menu. Any attempt in any form to reach a Sony Creative Software website page results in this.
