Vegas 10 severe rendering problems
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following posts on this forum for quite a while now but the solutions mentioned to fix rendering problems don’t work for me.
The project I’m busy with now is a 6-7 minute film, recorded with my Kodak Z981. All the footage are MOVs with H.264 codec which made Vegas 9 crash all the time. That’s why I’ve upgraded to 10.0c now.
Editing works fine with this codec but it just won’t render it.
Even if I create a 20 second loop region with a bit of Event Crop and Track Motion and try to render that, it crashes or tells me the system is low on memory.A few minutes ago I tried running Windows on ancient Windows 95 graphics settings, I set Dynamic RAM Preview to 0 and I activated GameBooster to shut down as many applications as possible. Still Vegas refuses to render in .m2t format.
My computer’s got a 330GB hard drive (137GB available), 3GB internal memory, nVidia GeForce 8400 and runs on 32-bit Vista Ultimate SP2.
I hope you can help me out on this problem because it really ruins my holiday.
