So I’ve been using match grain on several shots the last few weeks, and only recently has this started happening. After I apply it and go into the red color channel to start tweaking, I’ll change one or two settings and then move on to the green, which has now gone haywire. The contrast in the green channel of the noise is through the roof, either pure green or pure black, like what the dissolve mode looks like.

Sometimes it goes back to normal if I turn the filter on and off or tweak a setting, but it’s a coin-toss. Tweaking becomes a pain because it randomly goes crazy and randomly goes back to normal like this. Just now the blue channel did it as well, which prompted me to come here and ask if there was a fix. I know it’s not a 32-bit filter, and I’m working in 32-bit, but I can’t tell what’s causing this because it isn’t consistent. Has anyone run into the same strange behavior with the match grain filter?
