  ac3 rendering issue

  When I attempt to save over an existing .ac3 file for use in a DVD project, Vegas 10c will not write over the file but will quickly complete the rendering, like in 1/10th of a sec., and state that the render is complete.

  Why is this happening?

  Are you using the same file in DVD Architect? If so, DVD Architect probably still has the file open so Vegas Pro can’t write to it. Try closing DVD Architect and then render the ac3 file and see if this fixes the problem.
