Rendering Problem
Hi, I have lifted a random series of about 20 short DV clips from a previously produced DVD (produced with Vegas 9 and DVDA) and dropped them into a new Vegas project.
I’ve set these imported clips up to run in the new project as a frame of 2 x PIPs, using track motion. Prior to importing into the new project, the random clips were assembled into a group and saved as a veg file.
I have rendered the new project however after authoring with DVDA, abouy 50% of the imported clips in the PIP section (about 2 mins long) of the project have a flickering, ‘venetion-blind’ effect (lines across the picture) which effectively ruins the 90 minute long project. The remainder of the PIP clips are perfectly fine. The corrupted clips appear randomly throughout the 2 min PIP section of the new project.
The properties of both the previously produced project and the new project are the same.
The ‘corrupted’ clips in the new project work perfectly fine in the previous, original project where they were lifted from.
To go back to the original DV tapes and recapture the corrupted clips would be too big a job so before I scrub the PIP segment of the new project, can anyone suggest why these clips might be behaving this way? Thank you.
